The character models all share the same body type in Valkyria Chronicles, which allows for a lot of attention to detail in their outfit design, but makes for some awkward proportions like that one 12 year old shocktrooper who's name escapes me.

Looking nice. Perchance do you know where one may find reference and names of the earlier models of the small arms in game? Most often seen are the later designs with near useless and hefty water-cooling jackets.

Isn't that little 12 year old shocktrooper named Aisha Neumann? I'm not sure because I haven't played the game(wish I could), just watching the anime is all. I'm not sure if I translated her name correctly or not though because it's all in Japanese everywhere I look.

Sorry for the late reply.

Yeah, the 12 year old is Aisha. She's 12, but she shares the exact same body build as the other, older shocktroopers. Its very jarring.

As for your question, I think because the fact that the artbook still isn't out yet (last I checked, anyways), your best bet is to just use the game itself for references, and even then, you're ability to examine the weapons in detail are actually pretty limited, as the 3D glossary doesn't exactly feature every model in its series. As for handguns, the only one ever shown is in the anime.

lol I wonder who thought of making her a shock trooper, I would have thought kids would make better scouts, :laughing: though my buddy jokes they should have made her a lancer. But yeah when I see that model I don't doubt I'll be shocked.

Indeed I'll check it out cause I finally broke down and bought it. May have to improvise on some weapons though, but being a gun nut shouldn't be too much trouble. And yeah that handgun looks like it is based off of John Browning's designs.
